Our CSR approach
Buronomic puts respect for the environment and preserving the planet at the heart of its raison d'être. Aware of the importance of environmental and societal responsibility, and with the support of French furnishings, Buronomic deploys its CSR approach in 2024 by associating all of its stakeholders (customers, suppliers, collaborators) and integrating within its industrial and commercial strategy.
Our strategy
Our CSR strategy is based on the principles of the ISO 26000 standard, which aims to satisfy all stakeholders.
The buronomic strategy is to contribute to improving the quality of life in the workplace by manufacturing, in France, a reduced and coherent standardised offer to furnish work spaces.
For this, buronomic has signed up for the decarbonisation and reindustrialisation objective defined in the project French Furniture:

Our Carbon Footprint
Since 2021, buronomic has produced its carbon balance every year with Greenly to assess the impact of its activities on the environment.
By analysing its carbon footprint, buronomic can implement sustainable and responsible initiatives to protect our planet.
CO2 emissions below the median in the sector
Our greenhouse gas emissions are lower than the sector median (109 vs. 116 tCO2e/employee), so this is a positive observation for the company.

A Life Cycle Analysis approach for our products
At buronomic , we are determined to engage in a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) approach for our products in accordance with the ADEME (Ecological Transition Agency) standards.
LCA will allow us to assess the environmental impact of our products at each stage of their life cycle, from design to end of life. By complying with the ADEME standards, we ensure that we take into account aspects such as greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption and the resources used.
Our goal is to reduce the ecological footprint of our products by identifying opportunities for improvement and promoting more sustainable choices. We work in collaboration with Eco-Impact to implement environmentally friendly practices and processes.
